Building a link
Start from the game id, which you can get from/exchange/getGames or from the address bar of any game page (/exchange-single/{gameID}). Then add the market you want to open.

What the player sees
The link points at a market, not at a single order. When the page opens, the modal shows the best price currently resting on that side, along with the rest of the ladder. Prices move, so the number a player sees can differ from what you saw when you built the link; the modal always shows the live book and the player confirms the price before the bet is placed. If nobody is currently offering that side, the modal switches to creating an offer at that line instead of taking one, the same way clicking an empty cell on the exchange does.Notes
- Games go live. When a game kicks off, its prematch market closes and a separate live market opens. A prematch link followed after kickoff opens the live market’s book instead.
- Unknown lines. If the line in the link is not one the game has (or
lineis omitted and the game has no main line published yet), the homepage opens without a modal. The player is never moved to a different line silently. - Referral attribution. The first referral code a browser arrives with is the one kept until that visitor signs up. A visitor who already has an account is not re-attributed.
- Game pages too. The same
market/side/line/refparameters also work on a game page (/exchange-single/{gameID}?market=...), opening the modal over that game’s board instead of the homepage. - Props and player markets are not addressable with these parameters yet.
